Ballarat Tours Guide
Sightseeing tours such as bus tours and wine tours are very popular. Guided tours and charter are a great way to see the area without having to worry about driving yourself.
Visit the Ballarat Visitor Information Centre for brochures on the Eureka Trail, Heritage Walking Trail and the Sturt St Sculpture and Coffee Walk. Maps and bike hire available at the Visitor Information Centre.
Heritage Walking Tour:
Short in duration but long in history, the walk through the heart of historic Ballarat uncovers much of the cities fame and fortune.
Sturt St Sculpture and Coffee Walk:
Take a leisurely stroll along Ballarat's major Boulevard. Be inspired by our Statues and Heritage then indulge with coffee and cake at one of the many cafes along the way.
Eureka Trail:
Follow in the footsteps of the Government forces ordered to break up the Eureka Stockade.
Gold Trail:
The Ballarat Gold Trail leads you on an absorbing journey through the city and its mining past. Beginning at the Centenary of Gold Discovery Monument in Sturt St, the two-hour self-drive tour visits 16 historical sites, each of which is accompanied by a sign detailing its role in the Gold Rush.
